Tips:
While soaking Sabudana the water content should be same as the level of sabudana.
Adding more of ground nut powder will increase the taste.
For Sesoning :
- Jeera - 1tbsp
- Green Chillies - 2
- Curry Leaves - 5 - 6 (Optional)
- Oil - 2 tbsp
For cooking :
- Sabudana (Saggubiyyam or Javvarisi) - 200 gms
- Aloo - 1 big or 2 small
- Ground nut powder (Roasted) - for taste
- Salt - as per the taste
Method :
- Wash and soak Sabudana over night (atleast for 5-6 hrs).
- Boil Aloo and peel the skin off and cut into small pieces.
- Add oil to the pan, when the oil heats up, add Jeera, when the Jeera starts spluttering add green chillies and let it fry for a minute.
- Add the chopped Aloo and let it fry for some 3 mins, then add the soaked Sabudana and allow to cook for 5 - 10 minutes, if required add again 2 tbsp of oil.
- Then add salt and ground nut powder, let it cook for another 2 mins.
